I chose Rainhill Sixth Form as it offered me the opportunity to study both A Level and BTEC courses. I loved all of my subjects and the teaching staff were very supportive. I wouldn’t have known what to do as a career if it wasn’t for the guidance of the Dance and Drama tutors at Rainhill Sixth Form. They really helped guide me towards a future I never thought would be possible. They pushed me hard to improve my skills so I was accepted into the top vocational training school in London, and arguable, the world.

I would recommend Rainhill Sixth Form because the staff are so helpful and you can tell they genuinely care about helping you go further in education and career. The one piece of advice I would give to future students is just enjoy studying at this level as it puts you in a good position for university education and really think about what you want to get out of your subject choices in order to make an informed decision about your university choices and future career.

Want to study a wide range of courses in St Helens? Then Rainhill Sixth Form is for you.
We offer a wide range of vocational and A-level courses for you to choose from, from a full range of the arts and sciences to humanities and social sciences courses. Some courses you may have studied at GCSE and be familiar with. Make sure you read what the course entails, what you will be studying and how you will be assessed because even the familiar ones will have a different focus and different content at an advanced level.
