If so, Further Mathematics is for you. Further Mathematics deepens your knowledge and understanding through solving sophisticated abstract problems. You will study::
- Pure Mathematics
- Further statistics
- Further mechanics or decision maths
To study Further Mathematics you will also be required to take A-level Mathematics. This is a highly respected qualification that is in demand for careers in:
- The financial sector

“I chose to come to Rainhill Sixth because the idea of small class sizes really appealed to me as I find I learn best working with a small group. I loved the Maths and Further Maths courses. The content is extremely interesting and I always feel that I can be challenged. All of my teachers have also been amazing and they have always been on hand to support me. I attended many of the Supercurriculum events but my favourite was the Maths session on the Knot Theory. This was delivered by BAE Systems.
