Spanish

IT SEEMS YOU CAN’T MOVE THESE DAYS FOR PEOPLE BAILANDO TO REGGAETON
OR ASKING TO OYE MI CANTO. AND THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT.

The Hispanic world spans 20 countries across the globe, taking in 555 million native speakers. The exuberant diversity of Spanish-speaking countries provides a fascinating A-level subject matter, with study on a political and sociological scale. The rise of directors like Cuarón (Roma), Del Toro (Pan’s Laberinth, The Book of Life) and Almodóvar (Volver, Pain and Glory) means that the Spanish language is stamping its hallmark throughout modern global culture. Iberian and Latino-American industries are rapidly on the rise, and use of Spanish is becoming more prevalent in English mainstream media. Acquisition of Spanish is particularly useful in industries like:

  • Tourism
  • Manufacturing
  • Agriculture
  • Banking
  • Energy and environment

You can travel through Spain and Latin America, creating life long memories. Learning Spanish provides so many job opportunities as well as opening your eyes to another way of life. On the course you’ll study about the food, the culture, the language, the history as well as a play and a film. There will be an opportunity to visit Spain and experience all what you are learning about first hand.”
