- Adobe Photoshop

- Printing, painting and drawing
Working independently, you will explore a number of themes, making a personal response to a specified design brief. Graphic Design is a growing industry and the skills you learn transfer across many job markets, such as:
- Lawyer

“Design is all around us and you can be part of shaping the visual world in which you live. The creative industries alone rake in £87.4billion each year to the UK economy, and the future is only looking brighter. Within our Graphic Design course staff will encourage you to develop your own ideas, find your voice and help you to create your own individual language of visual graphic design. It is this level of personalisation that has ensured all our students have achieved first choice university places within the past 9 years.”

“I chose Rainhill Sixth because it has small class sizes and produces good grades every year. The Sixth Form was always very impressive to me from the taster day events we did too. At A-Level, Art Graphics has provided more fun challenges. It has given me the freedom to take my work further in a direction of my choice. The teachers at A-level are approachable and friendly, always offering their support. The art department frequently take students out on trips. We recently went to Liverpool to a variety of galleries. I hope Art Graphics will help me in the creative fields because the skills I have learnt can be transferred.”
