Then mathematics is for you. You will study such topics as:
- Algebra and functions
- Coordinate geometry
- Sequences and series
Not only will mathematics give you the knowledge to tackle scientific, mechanical, coding and abstract problems, it will also help you develop logic to tackle everyday issues. Mathematics is recommended, and sometimes required, for subjects such as:
- Computer Science
- Accounting
- Engineering

At Rainhill Sixth this is what we aim to do for all mathematics students. You will be introduced to new concepts, which at first will seem complicated and complex, and at times are incredibly challenging, but with work, support and time, will become simple problems that you have the tools to tackle independently.
