“I chose Rainhill Sixth Form for my A-Level studies as I felt it gave me the support and opportunities that I needed to reach my future career path and goals. Within my Theatre Studies course I have gone on numerous theatre trips with access to both tours of the theatre as well as the chance to watch live performances. I have also been given chances to watch recorded pieces of theatre to help add to my knowledge of performance skills as well as professional practitioners. As well as supplying me with opportunities to see theatre another reason that Rainhill Sixth was the correct place for me to study Theatre Studies is the guidance and support I receive from my teachers. They take time and effort to make sure I was always up to date with my applications for higher education as well as having one to one chats about how I could prepare myself further and help me progress into my desired career pathway. By having this support around me throughout my two years I always felt comfortable knowing that my teachers had my best interests at heart.”
