“You get a little bit of all three sciences. We put a focus on the human body in the optional unit, which is my favourite topic of all. The coursework gives you confidence and there is a strong practical component, you get the chance to do lots of investigations and get some experience before labs at Uni.”

“I chose to come to Rainhill Sixth as the idea of small class sizes was really appealing as well as the welcoming environment from the staff. I particularly loved Applied Science as the idea of combining all three subjects was something that best suited my future aspirations. All of my teachers have been amazing, they will work one to one with you and if you need a little bit of an extra push and are always on hand to help and support you.”
